True, and one has to wonder what some of our names end up meaning in other languages and if they are as odd to locals in other countries.
Exactly. I lived in a town in Sweden for a while and the town name would mean penis in Hindi 🙂 so yeah you never know what something means in a different language.
Thanks for the comment George, this discussion could go forever with more and more bizarre additions. Maybe someone will do a blog about weird translations.
